Does accurate splitting, Neat & Clean Cutting Cutwell Band knives are produced under the supervision of Experts who have more than 45 years experience in the production of Raw materials & Band knives.  Quality control is done starting from thorough inspection of Raw Material to every stage of production unto Finishing, Marking and Packing.  Qualified experienced Engineers carry this out.   Finest Quality Steel The steels we use have a chemical analysis and physical properties that have proved, both in metallurgical test and splitting trials at customers'' works, to have particularly good resistance to back edge cracking and yet hold a sharp cutting edge to give maximum life / cost performance. The steel is hardened and tempered to suit the application and after grinding and polishing has excellent anti-scuffing properties minimising the risk of damage to jaw plates which are expensive to replace.
